We are bringing the power back to people in 2019-PDP Stalwart

A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in Kaduna State, Rt Hon Dr Dogara Matoh Dari said the opposition party is bringing power back to electorates in 2019.

According to him PDP remains a party for Nigerian people especially those from the grassroots.

“PDP is the only political party in Nigeria that gives power directly to the people and that is exactly what the PDP stands for, we will never compromise”. He stressed.

He reiterated that the PDP mandate and manifesto is conversely for the people to have leaders answerable to them, indirectly bringing power back to them as against what Nigerians are experiencing now.

“We are so interested in bringing the party back and of course going down the grassroots is necessary, the youths also will play an important role to that effect. Also, the Party believes that active and responsible youths be given more space to aspire for public office and we will not compromise that either –following the decision by some of us in Kaduna to give way for younger aspirants, we are definitely going the right way”He said.

The Kerau Born Politician in Garun Kurama,Lere LGA of Kaduna state is known for his people oriented political ideals, haven had a steady political growth as a former local government administrator,commissioner and later became deputy speaker during the Makarfi,Lamaran Yero regime respectively lambast the present administration of loosing the first popularity it enjoyed in 2015.

As the 2019 is sliding down in a grandstyling to full political activities, the popular grassroots politician opined that he is never going to partake or vying for any electice position in the forth coming electioneering year.

“Personally, on my own side, Haven been Local Government Chairman, Secretary, Special Adviser, Commissioner, Member State House of Assembly and Deputy Speaker in Kaduna state. I should give others in my constituency a sense of belonging with the PDP, the system needs lots of fresh ideas with regards to governance at some parts of the local and state level. On this, I believe we are on the right part to progress” Dogara Said

Matoh while responding to question from our reporter in Kaduna foresee a great fall into what he call a political bottomless pit of the ruling APC,having being a Party neglecting the plights of Nigerians,PDP is busy recouping and learning from her past mistakes and is now well position to oust the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and return to power.
