The Secretary of the Forum Of APC Former Executives In Adamawa State, Barr.Shagnah Pwamaddi said their decision to dumped Honourable Wafari Theman Dalhatu, their erstwhile colleague for Hon Abdulrazaq Namdas is because of his good leadership qualities.
Shagnah said they have endorsed Namdas for Governor during a meeting attended by 147 former State and Local Government Executives from all Local Governments in the state, held in Yola on Saturday 4th December, 2021 is an irreversible decision he believe it will lead them for a victory come 2023.
However said that the meeting ended up in a twin clarion call to all participants to join into the campaign vanguard for the actualization of a credible Governorship candidate for the APC come 2023.
According to him the group Leadership presented Hon.Namdas Sa’ad Abdulrazak as the most sellable, acceptable and electable Governorship Aspirant in view of his over 20 years participation in politics and public service as a one time Press Secretary to H.E.Boni Haruna for eight years, a leader of different progressives Political movements within and outside the state.
Pwamaddi said Hon.Namdas is currently serving his second term as one of the most outstanding Legislature in the sub saharan Africa as acknowledged by many organization.
He therefore called on the entire forum members to embrace the outcome of the recently concluded Congresses in good faith and encouraged them to cooperate with the new leadership of the party at all levels for the peace, unity and success of the party.
When asked that the forum had earlier endorsed the former Secretary Hon.Wafarniyi Theman as a possible Governorship candidate to emerge from the Executives.
Barr.Shagnah Pwamaddi who doubled as the former APC State Legal Adviser and the Secretary of the forum dispelled the issue and described same as the mother of rumours.
He revealed that other Aspirants were only considered by the forum leadership during the stock taking process on the credibility, acceptability and electability of candidate that can meet the required or expected test of the majority of the Adamawa electorates.
“And going by the Forum on the scale assessment and evaluation, findings have shown that Namdas is the right Governorship candidate for the 2023 permutations and the expectations of the masses inview of positive track records and developmental strides in Ganye,Jada, Mayobelwa and Toungo Federal Constituency, his experience, humility and above all his unifying potentials haven widely consulted elder states men in the state, critical stakeholders in the party, even his colleagues aspirants and the electorates.
” This forum in its bid to actualize the emergence of Namdas and had engaged with about 1000 persons within the party in Adamawa State for an impactful talks through which the forum can continually party members and delegates.” He said
