….says LP’s enemies are peddling bad stories
Honorable Victoria Shanshi, member of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has dispelled rumors and claims that the money earmarked for the logistics operations of the Obi/Datti campaign was misused.
Victoria cleared the air trending in many social media outlets and platforms that the money made available for the success was not diverted or misappropriated.
She said if the money was not used there would not have been a recorded success in all the places Peter Obi visited.
Victoria was surprised that a faceless group was paddling rumor and trying to discredit the popularity of Peter/Datti who were well-received and celebrated in Yola.
For this reason, she stressed that the labor party in Adamawa are victory focused on delivering the Obi/Datti’s mandate.
She challenged anyone to tender a prove of their claims that the money provided was not used or meant for them was denied.
She admitted that the cashless policy introduced by the central bank of Nigeria limiting withdrawals was some of the hick-ups experiences in making money for some accredited groups.
She worried that some people who are not in the PCC budget are making blatant claims for money to be given to them, saying that “it is not possible to give money just like that”.
“If money were not used how come we got a successful outing in Mubi and Numan? You need to see how our President to be was well received in these places.
“We are working with a budget and only those the PCC is having as part of the LP campaign structure are captured.
“The cashless policy is one of the reasons that some payments were delayed. As I’m talking to you, I’m still at the back trying to sort out issues.
“So the lies peddling around are just from those that see Obi as their threat. We are focused on making sure he wins not only Adamawa state but the entire country.”Victoria said
