we must live in Peace, together as one -Ribadu tells Adamawa Christians, Muslims Faithful

The Pioneer Chairman of Economy and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu told Adam sea Christians and Muslims faithful that there is no basis for disunity and disharmony among them for whatsoever reasons.

The emperor of corruption fighter said this at a wedding of the daughter of an All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart, Mr. Kevin Peter which took place last Saturday at EYN Lokuwa, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa state.

Nuhu while on the pulpit addressed Muslims and Christians followers who graced the occasion and reiterated that God in his divine wisdom created them both of different faith and must coexist to live together as one,as Brothers and Sisters under whichever religion.

The wedding which brought people of different faith and politicians of divergence parties together and the former EFCC leader preached the need for unity and peaceful coexistence as the only way sentiments,bigotry and hatred will be chased out of the state.

“We must live in Peace, we don’t have any reason or have any basis not to live together as one in this state and this nation. If we can come together like this under one roof,not minding our faith or political party affiliation this shows that it is possible to live as one in this nation.” Ribadu said

While quoting the book of 1Thessalonian chapter 5:17 of the Holy Bible,he enjoined Religion leaders, traditional leaders to pray without season for peace and unity to reign and continually pray for the leaders in the country for God to equip them with the divine wisdom of leadership.

Ribadu also while on the podium he reminded the faithful of the two religions that God deliberately allowed them to be together under different religions to show love to one another and live together as one because He loves humanity under whichever guise or religion one professes.

Nuhu further said the Bride, Yetty Kevin who was married to Peter, her Groom is his daughter and was raised in a good Christian home with norms that will help her to raise a good family.

He enjoined the couples to be ever united not allow any third party to interfere in their home affairs.
