Youths who are All Progressives Congress (APC) enthusiasts in Adamawa have converged to pray for the party Unity as political activities are warming up and taking a new dimension in the state.

The Youth who are summoned by Suleiman Yerima, a renowned APC supporter at his residence in Yola town said the party needs both spiritual, physical unity to strengthen up its existing structures.

The Youth in their numbers said they are missing the good old days of Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, the immediate past Governor of the state.

Suleiman who has led the Muslim prayers of the party peace and unity, with a take over the mantle of leadership cited Quran 3:103 and prayed fervently. while James Habila prayed the Christian faith prayers using the book of Romans Chapter 13:1-4 and Psalms 122:6.

In their earnest desires, they vehemently prayed against the many killings across many parts of the country, saying bandits, kidnappers, and all those sponsoring their activities are unwanted elements that the wrath of God shall visit them in their hideout.

They both recalled the good old days of the APC government under the leadership of Bindow who brought overall development projects in the state.

Suleiman said that Bindow has placed a template of development with a structured growth in the state that any coming leader cannot do otherwise than to follow suit.

“Oh Lord returns us to the old good days in our dear state, the suffering is much, our youth in their thousands were sacked by Fintiri’s government, pensioners are in deep trouble of lack of payment, our state is now experiencing serious economic meltdown with excruciating pains being experienced by our people.” Suleiman prayed

But for James however, his prayers were thoroughly for the APC unity which according to him is under serious divisions because of the divergence interest of the party’s members.

In his prayers, he worried about the disunity that caused a big loss in 2019 with members of APC turning themselves to enemies of the party.

He said it’s a crystal clear fact that PDP is not capable of winning the election in 2023, It was APC that gave PDP the present privilege power to govern the state.

“The present seat is ours, we demand a return of it oh Lord. Cause your wind of unity to blow among party members, bringing the thinking of our stakeholders in one direction, and accord. May enemy of our party and our state and Nigeria our dear country be put to shame.” James prayed
