In a strongly worded response to recent allegations, Salim Ahmed Alfa, speaking on behalf of the Alfa family, has categorically dismissed claims of denied inheritance and estate rights following the death of their late father, Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa.

The accusations, leveled by Mustafa Ibrahim Alfa and Rilwan Ibrahim Alfa in a widely circulated article, have sparked controversy, prompting the family to set the record straight.
In an open letter titled “A Response to Baseless Accusations: Setting the Record Straight”, Salim described the allegations as “baseless” and a “gross misrepresentation of facts.”
The article in question alleged that the Alfa family had been systematically denied their rightful inheritance since the passing of Air Marshal Alfa, a respected figure. However, Salim, who was a young child at the time of his father’s death, expressed disbelief at the claims, questioning how he and other young family members could have been involved in any such schemes.
“It’s perplexing that the authors seem to be fueled by misinformation or a hidden agenda,” Salim wrote, urging Mustafa and Rilwan to provide concrete evidence and name specific individuals responsible for any alleged injustices.

He condemned the brothers’ blanket accusations against the entire family as “unacceptable” and called for a more responsible approach to resolving disputes.
The statement also highlighted the pivotal role of Captain Shuaibu Alfa, the family’s uncle, who has provided invaluable guidance and support since Air Marshal Alfa’s passing. “His contributions have been selfless, and we are grateful for his leadership,” Salim noted, underscoring the family’s unity and strength in the face of adversity.
The Alfa family’s response emphasized their refusal to tolerate attempts to tarnish their reputation. “We will not stand idly by while our family name is dragged through the mud,” Salim declared, urging Mustafa and Rilwan to address grievances within the family framework rather than resorting to public attacks.
