It may be recalled that before the coming of Senator Bindowo Jibrilla as the Governor of Adamawa state, the good people of the state were searching for a competent personality to salvage the state from infrastructural decay and improvement of socio-economic activities. Then came the call by some patriotic citizens for him to contest for the governorship seat in Adamawa state.

We have done so when we realized that our people were calling on him to come and occupy the Governorship seat of Adamawa state.

Honestly, since then we were confident that he has come to salvage the state from the deplorable condition we have found ourselves years after the return of Democracy in the country. This is obvious because, before he comes into power we don’t know what is meant by youth empowerment in this state, probably what our youth knew then was “Majalisa” youth sitting along the roadside otherwise known as gossip joints where they spent almost the whole day arguing, gossiping and going house to the house of political office holders to beg.

Thank God now most of our youth have undergone one form of Vocational training or the other, while others are currently undergoing such training that he initiated so that they can be self-reliant and contribute to nation-building.

On the issue of Health care, we are the direct beneficiaries of the improved health facilities and services in the state despite all the propaganda by the opposition that the program is not covering the entire state.

The renovation of primary health care centers across the state is also a welcome development. Roads construction and rehabilitation did so far have gone a long way in alleviating the sufferings of our people especially our farmers in the rural areas who were unable to transport their farm produce can now comfortably do so without hitches.

Access roads within urban centers in the state were rehabilitated with the best standard.

Agriculture is also not left out as farmers get fertilizer at the right time and most of them were trained on the modern techniques to have higher yields.

The education sector also received a boost under his administration, improvement and timely payment of scholarship awards to Adamawa state indigenes studying in tertiary institutions and rehabilitation of secondary schools will remain unforgettable in the history of this state.

Also, the performance of the Universal Basic Education (UBE) Programme which led to a series of awards as the best in the country is another great achievement of his administration.

The achievement of his administration is too numerous to mention as he has touched all the sectors to alleviate the sufferings of our people.

We are warming up for yet another struggle for continuity so he can continue to deliver Democracy dividends to the good people of Adamawa state.

Already we have begun mobilizing the electorates, although what is on the ground is enough to speak for us but as the campaign is part and parcel of the electioneering process, we have begun our campaign before joining the mainstream of the campaign organization.
