Wife to Chief of Staff Adamawa state Government, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abba Jimeta bagged an international award for the 2018 African Leadership Award of African Female Congress (AFLC)
Hajiya Aisha Abdulrahaman Abba Jimeta who was nominated to own an award from an international female across all African continent with about 54 member Unions from across francophone and Anglophone countries of Africa.
According to Maryam Galadouma representative of the organisation from Senegal while making her presentations speech at Banguet hall in Yola,said the union which is relating closely with the UN system and Pan African movement decided to give Aisha an award because of her ”outstanding performance and service, exemplary leadership, contributions to the life of the citizens of Adamawa state.”
“The Award is because of her motherly heart in lending her hands to less privileges and orphanage in the state.” She said
The award is also aimed at promoting all forms of action of good leadership designed to constructs the defence of African culture, leadership, and integrity. The Congress aim at to reward outstanding Women leaders who have vision toward uplifting Africa, with the purpose of serving as a role model for younger generation in line with the construction and charter of AFC in the spirit of Pan Africanism.
While responding to the award received, Mrs Abba seen so delighted and dignified to be honour for the award she consider a ”monumental honour” and owned it to be More committed, dedicated and inspire others toward good leadership Service.
”I personally believe on given back to society. And my entire philosophy on life is about service and helping to the advancement of our people. I have Passion for the betterment of my own community.
” I therefore want to use this medium to call on the good people of Adamawa state and philanthropist to also contribute their quarter by helping the vulnerable and destitute in our dear state and the nation at large.
”Let’s commit ourselves to making the world a better place, by improving people’s lives in order to leave a legacy that’s positive and inspiring.” Aisha said
Mrs Abba also appreciates the executive governor of Adamawa state, senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow and his dear wife Hajiya Aisha Jibrilla for given her the platform to be recognised through the historic award so dearly to her.
