To mark this year’s International Day of Education, the wife of the Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said without inclusive and equitable education no country will develop and break the circle of poverty.

The First Lady in her efforts to commemorates the International day of Education added her voice on the need for parents/ guardians to send their children and wards to school.

Hajiya Ahmadu said the one year Gap caused by the COVID-19 pandemic affected children and human development and as such parents should not delayed in enrolling their wards of school age.

She stated that education under the leadership of His Excellency Ahmadu Fintiri is being revived the sector improved to increase opportunities in diverse areas, especially for the womenfolk.

Lami Fintiri promised to champion more enrolment of girl Child in rural areas through accessing quality education.

Mrs. Fintiri through her Press and Information Officer, Mrs. Mary Adamu vowed that no child will be left in Isolation from social interaction.
