To commemorate this year’s World Humanitarian Day, Dr. Emmanuel N Musa, a prominent philanthropist and grassroots empowerment advocate, has empowered 1,000 individuals in Adamawa State with ₦500,000 each, totaling ₦500,000,000. The beneficiaries, selected from across the 21 local government areas, will utilize the funds to establish business ventures and become entrepreneurs.
Dr. Musa, aligning with the theme “Act for Humanity,” emphasized that empowering people with business capital at the grassroots level is the most effective way to combat poverty. He urged the beneficiaries to use the funds judiciously for their intended purpose.
Dr. Musa donated six vehicles to religious and non-religious organizations
In addition to the financial empowerment, Dr. Musa donated six vehicles to religious and non-religious organizations, with plans to donate over 200 vehicles across the state. The event took place at the Malkohi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp, attended by officials from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and government representatives from federal and state levels.
Dr. Musa also donated hundreds of bags of rice and other food items to the IDPs residing in the camp, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.
