To mark International Youth Day, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has organized a special program for the Nigerian Youth in Abuja where they will be equipped, taught, and be trained as tactical instruments for the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
In this regard, the National Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, has called on Honorable (Pharm) Wafari Theman to be the lead speaker during the occasion.
Honorable Theman who will be the key speaker is expected to address the Youth on tactics for political participation with high tips to make them conscious of taking their place as leaders of tomorrow not today.
Theman who commands respect in the country as a sound politician, a leader and a prominent political figure in Adamawa State will charge up the Youth in the area of political participation
in SDP as 2027 gradually coming to a close.
Theman is the North East National Vice Chairman of the party will join the Nigerian Youth in commemorating with them as the Mark the 2024 International Youth day.
The event is scheduled to hold on 12th, August 2024 at the SDP National Secretariat,17 Nairobi street, wusa 2 Abuja the Youth will have Theman on stage to give them a key note Address.
Theme for the year; “Youth empowerment for a sustainable future: Harnessing energy for national development” is the center message that Nigerian Youth will be thought of creating ideas, develop skills for them to be more patriotic and good citizens for nation building.
Theman is seen as a more experienced politician and a leader who is vast in many field of endeavors during the event will focus on giving the Youth ideas on equipping them for leadership: Gap-Bridging Tactics for political participation.
It’s one of the Mandate of the social Democratic Party which is geared toward empowering Young Nigerians and to promote sustainable development.
The National Chairman said Wafari is no doubt going to give a better keynote address set the tone for productive and thought-provoking insightful discussion on encouraging Youths to participate in elections and the need to cast their votes wisely.
