The collapsed bridge of Yebbi community has compelled him to press demands on the Government of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for immediate intervention to reconstruct the Bridge connecting the many communities of Ganye Local Government area.
Yebbi bridge which is near collapse Benjamin begged the Fintiri’s led administration to bring the succour of help now that the rainy season is ending and harvest time is setting in.
Benjamin worried that without the construction of the bridge it will cause serious effects on the economy activities of the people of Ganye Local Government area and its environs.
” I’m pleading over the plight of Yebbi people to our working Governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri that the bridge is about to collapse, the temporary measures cannot longer hold it to last long. This has affected mostly the economic viability of our people who are predominantly farmers, by implication food security, it has affected the agriculture value chain as trucks cannot pass to load out food produce that has help in the IGR of the LG and State.
“I’m calling on the government to please come to the aid of our people and consider their plight not just as priority but emergency.” He said
