The Chairman All Progressives Congress APC Yola South Alhaji Suleiman Adamu has called on stakeholders in the area to give another mandate to Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Kabiru Mijinyawa to enable him provide more democracy dividends to his constituents.
The Party Chairman made the called Thursday while speaking during the flagging off of rehabilitation of road linking Tashan Sani – Yola New Motor Park, Yolde Pate community and Shagari phase one Football Field in Yola South Local Government.
He said Kabiru Mijinyawa has justified the confidence reposed in him through the provision of basic social amenities to the electorates and charged the communities to make good use of the road especially in boosting the economy and generate more revenue to the State.
Speaking during the program speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Kabiru Mijinyawa who was represented by the Principal Special Assistant to Governor Bindow, Alhaji Husseini Ahmadu Har said no meaningful development can be achieved without support and cooperation from the electorates adding that his major concern is to meet the yearning and aspirations of his constituents.
He added that the sixth Assembly lawmakers will continue to work towards ensuring they have provide access road to communities adding that the intervention followed its poor condition and various requests from the stakeholders in the area.
In his address the ward head of Tashan Sani Sabon pegi Alhaji Adamu Mohammed Hamman Adama said the rehabilitation project embark by the Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa is a clear indication that he has interest of people at heart charged the to complement his effort by giving him another mandate to serve.
In their separate remarks the the House of Representatives Candidate of Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency Abdulrauf Modibbo Girei and Alhaji Idi Baba Attah among other stakeholders called on the people of the area to ensure that they have maintained the road for it to last long.
Speaking on behalf of the benefiting community Alhaji Musa Inuwa and Hajiya Larai Vincent thanked the member representing Yola South constituency Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa for his commitment towards giving his people sense of belonging.
There were goodwill messages from the representative of various groups in which they commended the Speaker for the road rehabilitation of road and other developmental projects.
