‎Honorable Jibril Jimeta, Chairman of Yola North Municipal Administration, celebrated his first year in office, highlighting a series of impactful achievements that have redefined governance in the region.

‎Speaking at a public event, Jimeta outlined milestones in discipline, accountability, employee welfare, and enhanced security, underscoring his administration’s commitment to inclusive and effective leadership.

‎Since assuming office on June 15, 2024, Jimeta has prioritized community well-being, collaborating with authorities to curb youth crime and bolster infrastructure.

‎His administration has made significant strides in education and healthcare, sponsoring students for national competitions and upgrading local health centers. Additionally, Jimeta launched empowerment programs targeting women and youth, fostering economic and social growth.

‎A landmark achievement was the public hearing for the 2025 annual budget, a first in Yola North’s history, reflecting Jimeta’s dedication to transparency and community involvement.

‎ “We are stronger together, regardless of origin or faith,” Jimeta emphasized, celebrating the unity and diversity of Yola North’s residents.

‎The administration also promoted oil production, and installed independent solar lights, alongside completing a well and solar lighting at Fugia Market

‎Key infrastructure projects completed under his leadership include the new model Government Secretariat, a modern school, and the P-Market, now equipped with overhangs, gates, and filled grounds. ‎Jimeta credited these successes to the support of Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, whose visionary leadership has created an enabling environment for local governments to thrive. “Our achievements reflect the collective will of our people and the guidance of our honorable governor,” Jimeta stated.

‎As Yola North looks to the future, Jimeta reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling election promises, delivering essential services, and fostering a united, prosperous community.
