The All Progressives Congress (APC) has welcomed Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency Umo Eno, into its fold. The announcement was made in a press statement issued by the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, Esq.

The statement, released on Friday, expressed the party’s delight at Governor Eno’s decision to join the APC under the leadership of National Working Committee Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON.

The APC lauded Eno’s move as a thoughtful decision expected to drive greater progress for the people of Akwa Ibom State. “We are confident that his thoughtful decision will inure to the greater progress of Akwa Ibom State and people,” the statement read.

The APC also pledged its full support to Governor Eno, assuring him of the party’s cooperation as it continues to advance the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the benefit of all Nigerians.
