The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa has described Youth as agents of National development.
Speaker Mijinyawa stated this while receiving an award on behalf of the State Assembly and the presentation of award as an advocate of Youth Development to Member Representing Shelleng Constituency Alhaji Abubakar Isa at the State Assembly Complex in Yola.
He said the leadership of the Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria has significant role to play in ensuring peace among youths who are the bedrock of development in any society, promising to contribute his quarter towards the success of the Assembly.
While congratulating the House and its Deputy leader for receiving the award Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa described it as well deserved reaffirmed the commitment of the House towards sponsoring meaningful Bills not only to the Youth but the state at large.
Receiving the award, the member representing Shelleng Constituency in the State Assembly Alhaji Abubakar Isa who is also the deputy leader of the expressed his appreciation to the Group for finding him worthy with the award as an advocate of Youth Development which he said will encouraged him to contribute more in all aspect of National Development.
He also dedicated the award to the Youth of his constituency whom he described as sources of all successes he recorded as member representing Shelleng constituency in the Adamawa state house of Assembly.
Speaking earlier the Vice President of the Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria the Deputy Speaker of the Youth Assembly Danladi Jonah said the award House of Assembly and the Deputy Majority Leader of House followed due consultation with all the members of the Association nation wide before nominating the State legislative and the lawmaker considering their contribution to passage of the Not Too Young to Run Bill.
According to the him Alhaji Abubakar Isa has contributed positively in all aspects of live as he continues to put education as top in his priority especially to the people of his constituency, Youths who the most vulnerable and the state at large.
