For his efforts in building up Peace for Unity and development among communities,the National President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN),Engr Daniel Kadzai bags an international award by UFUK Dialogue Foundation, established to promote peace, understanding and dialogue across cultures and religions around the world.
Kadzai has on Thursday honored with a PEACE and DIALOGUE award alongside the Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Gaidam, recognition his efforts in helping restore and promote peace in Yobe State.
National Security Adviser (NSA) to President Muhammadu Buhari,Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd) while presenting the award to Mr Daniel at the Sheraton Hotels in Abuja,Monguno said Kadzai is truly a Peace Bridger.
Engr Daniel Kadzai was elected the National President of YOWICAN an office which gives him the portfolio of leading all the Christian Youths in Nigeria.
Daniel has being touring the entire country, interacting with various religious backgrounds, beliefs, cultures and traditions.
Among many thing Kadzai engage in finding solutions to the incessant, plight experienced by Christians in Northern Nigeria; the many challenges threatening the peaceful coexistence of Christians at large in Nigeria; Nigerian Youths becoming endangered species due to ignorance, illiteracy and biting poverty and servers other undertakings.
His profiling records of Mechanical Engineer, CEO & Chairman of Kad Optimist Engineering Company, Engr. Kadzai has consulted for both the federal and state governments as well as for private establishments.
He has mobilized Nigerian Christian youth for political involvement in Nigeria and has designed strategies for enabling Christian youths get Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) for the various Local Government Areas (LGAs), State and national elections.
On the national security front, he was a member of the in-house mediation team of the New Nigeria Project (NNP) that mediated and settled the crisis between the Arewa Youth Faction and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the face-off of the threat to repatriate people of Igbo origin from Northern Nigeria.
Engr. Kadzai remains a strategic partner in the political wing of Christianity in Nigeria. He speaks, English, Hausa and Higgi fluently and also understands Fulfulde. He is married with children.
