Yuletide: Hon Abubakar splashes cash, wrappers food items as gifts to Askira Uba/Hawul constituents

The people of Southern Borno in this year’s Yuletide period have seen yet another show of love by one of their illustrious sons, Hon. Abubakar Mazhinyi who in the spirit of Christmas splashed out cash, wrappers, and assorted foods items to the people of Asikira Uba and Hawul Local Government areas.

in his passion for selfless service to humanity has given out gifts to hundreds of people in the Asikira Uba/Hawul Federal constituency.

Mazhinyi who is a renowned grassroots politician haven been a four-time caretake Chairman of the Asikira Uba LGA government, turbaned as Marafan Askira and Kauran Uba told in an interview with our correspondent in Yola that is always heartbroken whenever is home because of the myriads challenges his people are facing.

He said if not for the gallant performance of Governor Zulum and his people’s orientation policies they are now singing the song of liberation from the crutches of poverty and insurgents attacks.

He extolled Zulum’s style of leadership as a fearless emancipator of the masses who can dare anything in the interest of the people.

He revealed that the 2021 Christmas season came at a time that pushed him to play the servant leader responsibility by visiting House to House in the communities of Asiri Uba and Hawul to exchange pleasantries.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Excos of the two LGAs had a joyous moment with Abubakar of which he equally donated cash, wrappers, and food items to them to mark the Christmas celebration.

Abubakar who is the House of Representatives hopeful for the Asikira Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency said it’s better now than never for the baton of leadership to change hands.

In his goodwill to ensure total and all-round health to people of his constituency, Abubakar visited sick people in hospitals and their respective homes commiserating with them, making cash donations to settle their hospital bills.

While praying for them, he enjoined them to have total faith in God for divine healing as is the only one who can guarantee their well-being.

According to him, no creature is as important as human beings, is doing this because God values humans than anything else and he can spend his last kobo to make sure his people are secure in terms of security, food, and health.
