Secretary to Government of Federation (SGF),Barrister Boss Mustpha,has called on the Christians faithfuls to propagate the message of Christmas which dwell on love for peaceful coexistence .
Mustapha,who made the call in Yola,Sunday night ,at interdenominational Christmas Carol program to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
He said in spite of human failures and disqualifications,God has given love to all,adding that,every other commandments is base and centered on love.
Mustapha said,the idea which was conceived in 2015 by his predecessor,has transformed into movement for propagation of gospels and teachings of Jesus Christ hence his predecessor deserves commendation.
“To the glory of God,what he started as an idea,has transformed into a movement in Adamawa state.
“We truly appreciate him,for a God idea that he nurtured and insisted it took place.
“When he spoke to me about the carol,it was not in any way to seek my opinion,it was a charge given to me to attend the program” Mustapha added.
Adamawa state CAN chairman ,Rev,Dami Mamza during the occasion, said the state is going through a unique moment,in the history of community relation,urged spiritual,religious and temporal leaders to ensure peace in the state.
Mamza said it is unfortunate that,communities that have lived together in relative peace for centuries are now being torn apart by explosive violence.
He then urged the people in the country to continue to pray for president Mohammadu Buhari,so that God will give him more syrenth and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the country.
