Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state said the security challenges in Zamfara is not going to mar the coming elections in the State.
According to him is owing to the fact that both federal and state government are commitment stepping up the security situation in the State.
Yari reveled that the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is working hard to improve the security which is under serious threats to the people of the state some few months ago.
According to him his government is working tireless with the federal government to bring the security threats to a total vault before the 2019 elections.
The Chairman of the Governor’s forum of Nigeria while briefing some journalists at the Yola international airport Said there is going to be peaceful elections in the State that have never been.
He praised Buhari Government for fighting the hoodlums to a near stand still in Zamfara and other States under the challenges of Boko Haram insurgents.
Yari who was in Yola to attend the wedding Fatiha of the foremost Islamic cleric, Sheik Bala Lau’s daughters which was done afternoon of Friday at Baban Lau Mosque,Jimeta Yola.
He led a powerful delegation that comprises the former Governor of Kebbi,Sen Adamu Aleru,former Governor of Zamfara,Sen Yerima Bakura,Personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari,Sarki Abba and spokesman to Buhari,Garba Shehu to witness the wedding Fatiha.
The executive governor of Adamawa state gave them a warm reception as the chief host of the occasion.
