Adamawa Lawmaker bags an int’l Award

A minority leader in the Adamawa State House of Assembly (ADHA), Hon Lumsambani Mijah Dilli who is representing Demsa Constituency in the state bagged ”an African’s outstanding Grassroots parliamentarian” Award.

Mijja describe the Award as the most cherished and valued, appreciating the Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow and the ADHA speaker, Rt Hon Kabiru Mijinyawa for giving him the constant support to earn the award.

He Dedicate the Award to all Adamawa Youths, especially the youths and students from Demsa constituency as they assume into leadership position by becoming leaders today not tomorrow.

While presenting the award to him in his office with Hon Rt Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa and Deputy speaker, Hon Emmanuel Tsamdu in attendance, the Chief Whip of the House,Hon Adamu Usman,the Special Assistant to Governor Umaru, Mallam Ahmad Mohammad Marafa who represented him at Kigali during the youths summit said he was chosen because of his passion to support Youths and students of Adamawa state.

Marafa who opined that Adamawa state Governor along side Hon Dilli were unavoidable absent because of state engagement hence the need for him to represents them by collection of their awards.

The Award which was organised by African Students in a Youths Summits held in Kigali, Rwandan capital and summit in leadership and peace in uniting African as a continent.

While giving his good will message, the Lumsambani campaign Director, Mr Denis Kakaba said this Award is a strength to Dilli to do more for Youths and students especially from his constituency who believe in his representation.
